Sharon Lashley is the owner of environmental consultancy Enviro UK Consultants Ltd and also the founder of community interest company Climate Action North set up to work with communities, businesses and schools to take action on climate change through direct projects. Sharon is an experienced environmental practitioner with over 25 years of expertise in waste management, community engagement, renewable energy and helping businesses to improve their green credentials.
She is trained in Solar Photovoltaics and renewable heating and has previously worked across the construction and built environment sectors. Sharon’s particular passion is Rewilding and through her role as Managing Director of Climate Action North, she is able to work with businesses and communities to set up exciting projects as part of the Pollinator Parks programme which aims to rewild the North’s business parks. Sharon will be telling her story about how she is mobilising climate action in the North.
